Autumnal Hymn is an ode to the harvest season. The motifs are the flowers that bloom at the end of summer and the corn, squash and, beans that are ready to be harvested. The center tile with a pot is an abstraction of autumn rhythms and an attempt to understand and relate to Native American motifs . The pot uses the natural color and texture of the clay.
